Initiative summary:

Green Leaf NGO engages local residents in Odesa to advocate on environmental issues and serves as an important watchdog of local governance. The initiative aims to bring control into the hands of Odesa residents by raising their awareness of urban environment problems and the understanding that they have agency to instigate change. With EED support, Green Leaf NGO works with the local civil society to influence local decisions-making processes, with a view to establish systematic interaction between institutions and civic activists and to improve policy design in the region.
