Initiative summary:

Witness Center for Citizen's Rights and Social Development is a grassroots organisation that works with the most marginalized Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank on issues related to social justice, gender equality and freedom of expression. The objective of the initiative is to build communications and awareness raising and advocacy capacity of a group of Palestinian youth, within these refugee camps. The centre is developing a community e-radio into a broader e-media platform to include a website and social media. The aim is to mobilise Palestinian youth on economic and social issues by building their capacities on the basics of advocacy through a community media initiative. Thanks to EED support, the organisation is expanding its e-radio into a broader community e-media platform composed of an official website and social media tools .
