B’Tselem is a registered Israeli human rights organisation. The main objective of the initiative is to combat anti-democratic legislation aiming at silencing dissent and specifically targeting human rights and peacebuilding NGOs in Israel. B’Tselem is one the primary targets of these repressive measures due to its leading role among the Israeli NGOs that document and denounce the human rights violations perpetrated in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT). EED support will allow them to a campaign against the restrictive draft law on association that aims to strictly limit foreign funding for NGOs.
