“Réseau Alternatif des Jeunes” (RAJ) encourages youth activism and participation in civic life, providing a meeting place for youth to discuss over issues of concern.
The organisation acts as a facilitator between young people and civil society organisations at a local level, focusing on active citizenship, and youth mobilisation on economic and social rights across Tunisia. The EED-funded initiative, an online citizen platform entitled “Goulel’hom” (Arabic for “tell them”), is a pilot project that will be put in place for the governorate of Tunis, in eight municipalities. The objective of the platform is to give voice to the citizens to point out their everyday problems and challenges, while holding the local authorities accountable.
