The European Endowment for Democracy has been working to support civil society actors and democracy activists in the EU Neighbourhood since July 2013. During this period, EED has evolved from a concept put forward by EU Institutions and Member States into a vibrant, innovative member of the democracy support community.

We are pleased to invite you to our Special Event to celebrate the Endowment’s three-year anniversary.

Speakers:

  • Joanna Wronecka, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Poland
  • Maciej Popowski, Deputy Director-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, European Commission
  • Riadh Adibi, Association Tunisienne d'Action Culturelle, Tunisia
  • Polina Ceastuhina, Group of Feminist Initiative, Moldova
  • Fadi Dayoub, Local Development and Small Projects Support Office, Syria
  • Arif Yunus, Institute of Peace and Democracy, Azerbaijan

Moderator: Orysia Lutsevych, Research Fellow, Chatham House

We also invite you to visit a small cartoon exhibition created by EED media partners in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Jordan.
